Whether you have a need for virtual or onsite training programs, PGLS will work with your team to tailor the program to your organization’s needs.
PGLS offers a broad range of language training services to meet any requirements your business may have, ranging from customized one-on-one instruction to small- and large-group training. We provide remote, onsite, or hybrid language training to meet your needs. We have the ability to provide English and foreign language training in more than 15 languages. Our expertise in language training allows us to provide a broad range of other language training-related services as well, such as language assessments and customized language training based on curriculum, materials, and instructional design.
While PGLS can customize the language training program to suit your specific needs, this is an example of a standard Language Training process.
1. CUSTOMIZE YOUR TRAINING PROGRAM
PGLS will work with you to determine the best training program. We offer programs online, at our onsite facilities, and at government facilities across the United states. The language training program can be customized by completing a needs assessment of the student(s) to identify their requirements, learning objectives, training time, prior language experiences, and language assessments to ensure the training they receive is at their level. Level-appropriate materials and curriculums will then be developed based on their needs, requirements, and proficiency level.
PGLS instructors provide contextual and cultural training including speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Kinesthetic, visual, auditory, etc. All students have unique opportunities to develop language skills in the way that best suits their learning styles. Our programs include opportunities for conversation, real-world/hands-on experience, visualizations, and practice with the written word.
PGLS does not use a cookie cutter approach to language learning. Throughout a language training program, PGLS instructors and assessment specialists will measure each student's progress and provide feedback and reports on their proficiency based on various language proficiency scales, such as the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale. These evaluations help the instructor and the student target specific areas which may need more attention.

“The course was incredibly effective. I previously obtained a minor in Spanish, but had not used my Spanish in the last twelve or so years. Thanks to my two teachers and the effectiveness of the curriculum, I was able to regain and improve upon my Spanish skills.”

“My instructor was a rockstar and I feel like they really pushed me to succeed. And I like the way she would break it down so I could understand it. And if I still didn’t understand, she would figure out a way to teach it to where I would understand. I wouldn’t change anything.”
Christopher (Student)
“The final exam turned out to be less stressful than I had imagined it to be. I feel like the training provided is just right to get someone a base level of grammar and vocabulary in order to arrive in country with an ability to recognize necessary words and phrases. I’m looking forward to arriving in the country and the chance to use the language on a regular basis.”
Joshua (Student)
“Thank you all so much! I really enjoyed working with my instructors. They were the best part of an otherwise very difficult nine months for me, and I could not have made it through without their encouragement, support and knowledge.”
Scott (Student)
“I can’t say enough about the course. I strongly approve of every aspect of it. My teachers were excellent and the PGLS team was effective and responsive to my needs.”

INSTRUCTOR RECRUITMENT
PGLS takes great pride in hiring only the most qualified instructors to provide language training to our clients. All PGLS language instructors are required to have ILR (Interagency Language Roundtable) and Government training experience. As a first step in the recruiting process, instructors’ references are validated, after which they undergo a Language Proficiency Screening. Finally, candidates are required to acknowledge our code of ethics, and adhere by our compliance, confidentiality, and HIPAA standards.
BENCHMARK ASSESSMENTS & INDEPENDENT TRAINING
Every 200 hours, benchmark assessment are conducted to gauge how students are progressing. PGLS instructors and assessment specialists will measure each student’s progress and provide feedback and reports on their proficiency based on various language proficiency scales.
FINAL EVALUATION
Once the students have taken the final test, a final report with input from the instructors and the students is sent to the client.
